As the story goes, famed poutine connoisseur, Alexandre Curd ventured far and wide in search of the PERFECT poutine. After sampling a great many dishes, he decided to settle down in a Northern Ontario town called North Bay. It was there, he decided to open up a restaurant of his very own called, Wyld Street Poutinerie. Alexandre went on to perfect a savoury gravy that would be known across the lands. His creativity has expanded the humble poutine’s scope beyond the classic beef gravy, squeaky cheese, and succulent fries.
